Hey everyone! 🌞
What a week we've had at The Midnight Scholar Society's Opening Week! It was amazing to see such great energy and enthusiasm from all of you. A huge thank you for joining us on this journey. Individually we're strong, but together, we're astronomical.
In our Tuesday class, we dove into the Major Arcana, sharing the stories behind each card and reflecting on how these stories play out in our lives, enhancing our intuitive connection with the Tarot. The turnout exceeded expectations, and it's clear we're growing fast. To keep up, live class access will be first come, first served each week—until we hit our next membership milestone and expand our capacity. Growth is a great problem to have as far as success goes!
A question came up in class about selecting your first Tarot deck, and I thought it deserved a wider audience. So, here's the scoop for newcomers and the more experienced alike:
Choosing Your First Tarot Deck:
Follow Your Heart: The simplest advice? Pick a deck you feel drawn to. Forget about sticking to traditional decks if they don't speak to you. The right deck is one you can't stop thinking about, even if it's unconventional. It's the one you're already getting to know, in a sense, through your intuition.
Expanding Your Collection: For those looking to deepen their practice, consider diversifying your deck portfolio to cover these bases: physical world, mental world, emotional world, and spiritual chaos. This approach ensures you have a deck for every kind of query and energy you might encounter. Trust me, knowing which deck to use becomes an instinctive part of the reading process.
My Go-To Decks (from top left to bottom right):
The Wild Unknown for emotional insights.
Peitt’s 3rd Eye Tarot for mental exploration.
The Light Seers Tarot for grounding in the physical world.
Tarot Del Fuego for navigating spiritual complexity.
Midnight Scholar Society: Tarot Zine sneak peek
Plus, I'm putting together a Zine to complement our classes, offering deeper dives into these topics. Here’s a sneak peek into the visuals. The full Zine will go out to paid members in April and will be available for purchase at the end of Spring.
