Finding Ground in Times of Uncertainty 🌍✨
Hello Midnight Scholars,
Lately, I've been feeling a bit disconnected, navigating through strange dreams and an unsettling sense of unrest in the air. Maybe you've felt it too, with everything happening in the world. These feelings can make us feel out of alignment, but today, I want to share a few thoughts on how we can ground ourselves and find motivation amidst the chaos.
Seek Yourself First 🧘♀️💫
When the world outside feels turbulent, it's crucial to turn inward and reconnect with ourselves. Take a moment each day to center yourself. Whether it's through meditation, journaling, or simply sitting in silence, find that space where you can breathe and just be. This helps realign your inner compass and brings clarity.
Grounding Through Action 🌱🎨
I've found that preparing for my classes, especially those focused on the Earth Element, helps me ground. Engaging in activities that require focus and creativity can pull us back into the present moment. If you're feeling scattered, try dedicating time to a project or task that brings you joy and requires your full attention. This can be incredibly grounding and fulfilling.
Embrace the Now 🕰️🌟
It's easy to get caught up in the past or worry about the future, but true power lies in the present moment. Like a rock golem in a game, we might only see our immediate surroundings, but we can create so much beauty from that vantage point. Focus on what you can do now, and let go of what you cannot control.
Creating Amidst Uncertainty 🎶🌀
Even when we can't see the full picture, we can still create. Think of your life as a symphony—each note you play contributes to a masterpiece, even if you can't hear the entire composition yet. Trust in your creative process and know that the work you do now will reveal its beauty in time.
Reclaim Your Power 💪🔮
We all have moments where we feel powerless, but remember, you have the strength and wisdom of all your past experiences and future potentials. Call upon that inner power to guide you. Clear away distractions and seek wisdom from within and from trusted sources. Surround yourself with those who support and uplift you.
Embrace the Journey 🚀🌈
Life is a series of contractions and expansions, much like the process of giving birth. There will be moments of intense effort followed by relief and new beginnings. Embrace each phase of the journey, knowing that every step brings you closer to your goals.
Stay on the Edge 🌟🧗♀️
Being on the edge of your seat, fully engaged with the present, is where the magic happens. It's where you capture your own attention and witness the unfolding of your creation. Stay curious, stay engaged, and stay present.
Final Thoughts 🌺🕊️
In times of uncertainty, grounding ourselves and finding motivation can be challenging, but it's also an opportunity for growth and creation. Trust in your journey, embrace the present, and know that you are creating something beautiful, even if you can't see it yet.

📚 Book Club Corner
Title: "Women Who Run with the Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Themes: Psyche, Inner strength, wisdom, and the power of the wild woman archetype.
When: Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM CST
As we continue our journey through "Women Who Run with the Wolves," our exploration into "The Ugly Duckling" has offered profound insights into not only finding one's tribe but embracing the Swan archetype. Dr. Estés uses this story to illustrate the transformative journey from being misunderstood and overlooked to recognizing and embracing one's true beauty and power. This narrative serves as a crucial reminder of the importance of finding where we truly belong and the transformative impact of embracing our inner majesty.
Building on these revelations, I’m excited to announce that our next story will be "The Joyous Body: The Wild Flesh." This narrative promises to delve into the complexities of embracing our physical selves with joy and reverence, akin to honoring the wildness within us. We'll explore what it means to celebrate our bodies as vessels of experience, pleasure, and expression, mirroring the Jungian concepts of integrating all aspects of self. This discussion will be particularly insightful as it aligns with our upcoming class on the foundations of holistic self-care and the joys of bodily autonomy.
I strongly encourage all members to actively participate in our book club meetings for these deeper explorations. Remember, the group sessions are not recorded, so your presence is vital to fully benefit from the shared wisdom and insights. Join us as we uncover more treasures that extend far beyond the pages of our current readings.
Hey, Francina!
Is it possible to change the standard time for classes and book club meetings from 6pm CST to some time abit earlier - maybe 4pm CST?
With 8hrs difference, because I reside in Cyprus, the class takes place at 2am for me. Attempting to balance this with a full time job has been a source of great agony
