This course is uniquely crafted, not merely to share knowledge but to empower us to recognize and understand these cosmic energies, and more importantly, to organize them within our psyche. This strengthens our intuition, shifting us from a state of "guessing" to confidently "knowing."
🔮 Highlights from This Week’s Class
The House of Self delves into the "concept" of self—who we are, who we wish to be, what we do, the roles we play, and how we perceive these aspects. Yet, what lies even deeper is how we navigate the quest of bringing these concepts to life, whether we intend to or not. The First House is the manifestation of everything we will bring into physical form. It's crucial to understand the stories and gather the tools and lessons to be gleaned from this house in order to master what we express.

🔥A Moment to Reflect, The Presence of Fire
I'll pose a question to all of us about the nature of being present. The element that reigns over the first house is fire, a force that exists solely in the now. It consumes, expands, burns, and creates—it is the embodiment of movement, capturable only in the present moment. So, how often are you truly present to witness how you consume, expand, burn, create, and move? In our class, we discussed how fire interacts with other elements, with a particular focus on Fire + Air. This combination is explosive; consider Uranium's role in nuclear bombs, governed by Uranus. Air symbolizes ideas, creativity, laws, and symbols. Fire + Air is how we define ourselves and act within those definitions. As we learned, Athena, the quintessence of Fire + Air, always triumphs. Yet, victory's glory is often tempered by the weight of what we win. Being present allows us to consider our intentions and purposes based on reality, not just our desires.

I encourage members to share their astrology questions either in our chat or the Discord channel (links below). I’ll address these queries at the end of our class or, for more complex answers, via YouTube.
✨What I’m Up To
Research for these courses has inspired me to draft a guidebook filled with the stories and lessons each house offers. This class material offers a glimpse into what's to come. Something magical happens to me during this research process—worlds unlock, and I perceive the universe and our collective ancestors in ways I'd never imagined. This guidebook will link us not only to the unseen past but also provide a blueprint for our present. I’m excited to share it with you in the future.

📚 Book Club Corner
Title: "Women Who Run with the Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estés
Themes: Psyche, Inner strength, wisdom, and the power of the wild woman archetype.
When: Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM MST
As we continue with "Women Who Run with Wolves," I'm reminded of the first story, "Bluebeard." Dr. Estés's analysis of Bluebeard and our inner "failed magician" is a poignant reflection of the darkness found in the First House. We encounter failed creations when we crave something "new," and these remnants can wreak havoc if not properly acknowledged and released. I strongly encourage members to join our book club meetings for deeper insights that extend beyond the pages. These sessions are not recorded, so attendance is key to unlocking these treasures.
This month we will deep dive into the second story and along with the jungian interpretations: “Vasalisa the Wise” which is all about identifying and healing weakened intuition and thus developing and strengthening our intuition. I wouldn’t want to miss this as it will pair nicely with next week’s class. The 2nd House of Desire/Finance best known as Spiritual Wealth.
