I enjoy the audio format very much. How does one access the mind palace if they have aphantasia?

You don’t need mental images to build a mind palace—you need association.

Start by feeling into a place. Memory doesn’t live in pictures alone—it lives in texture, tone, rhythm, sensation. So let the emotions, sounds, spatial impressions, or even the vibe of a location come first. Let it be intuitive. Let it be sensory, even if not visual.

Then anchor it with narrative. As you read or watch movies, pay deep attention. What does this scene remind you of? Where would you place it if it were a room, a doorway, a hall? Let your body respond—lean into that. The labeling will come later. It’s less about seeing and more about placing meaning in space.

Think of it like this:

- Visual thinkers stack images.

- Aphantasic thinkers stack ideas, feelings, symbols, and spatial cues.

Both can build a palace. You’re just building yours with vibe and architecture, not furniture.
